A seasoned veteran of assessing local district needs and accessing available resources, Mr. McCoy works directly with local districts to address immediate needs and facilitate long-range planning.
With 25 years of experience as a local school district superintendent and 12 years in the position of Facilities Consultant for the Facilities Unit of the Georgia Department of Education, Mr. McCoy brings a unique perspective. He understands the pressures of meeting local needs and the strategies for maximizing support from all resources. Whether it involves developing a local facility plan, accessing Georgia Capital Outlay funds, and/or preparing a budget that combines funds from all sources to address facility needs, he will provide professional assistance to the school district.
The father of two and grandfather of three, he and his wife of 47 years enjoy family and life in general.
